The Winnipeg Buffaloes saddled the Vacaville Steelheads with a loss at Goldeyes Park. The final score was 5-2. Cameron Buss was 4 for 4, including 3 singles and 1 home run. The Winnipeg designated hitter scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Dan Frost earned the win. Sean Lee, who finished 5th in the SPBC in ERA with 2.86 in 2010, took the loss for Vacaville. The last-place Buffaloes are now 22-28, the Steelheads 30-20.

Dorek Bolesta had a big 2-run home run for the Buffaloes in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Winnipeg leading 1-0 and a runner on 1st, he got a fastball from Sean Lee and swatted a home run to center. It was his 2nd home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Buffaloes ahead, 3-0.

Said Winnipeg manager Jonathan Gandara: "At the end of the day, these guys have to perform between the lines, and I think they did."
