Rallo Belts 2 Homers in 9-3 Win
|
With Terry Rallo leading the charge, the Las Vegas Rollers defeated the Calgary Caracals, 9-3. Rallo was 3-4 with 2 home runs and a walk. He scored 4 times and drove in 5 for the Rollers. Mike Brown got the win, improving to 3-0. He held the Caracals to 3 runs on 6 hits over 8 innings, while striking out 7 and walking 5. Las Vegas's winning streak has reached 4 games.
With Las Vegas leading 5-2 in the bottom of the eighth, Rallo hit a slider from Ricky Leyva for a grand slam home run. It was his 6th home run of the season and put the Rollers ahead, 9-2.
