The Calgary Caracals and Las Vegas Rollers riveted fans at Vegas Stadium.

The Las Vegas Rollers beat the Calgary Caracals, 5-2. Las Vegas starter Andy Taylor pitched a gem. The Rollers now have a mark of 18-28.

Taylor's performance can only be described as masterful. He notched 6 strikeouts in 9 innings while allowing 3 hits. Taylor, who led the SPBC in strikeouts with 189 in 2008, goes to 1-8 on the year with 70 strikeouts.

"It was a good win," Taylor told the Las Vegas Times. "Enough to get the monkey off our back? I don't know."
