Chargers Take Tight Tilt
The Detroit Chargers wanted a good start from Carlton Michael -- and he delivered one. The result was a 3-2 Detroit win over the Mexico City Aztecas at Chargers Field. The Chargers improved their record to 20-23 with the win over Mexico City.

Matt Harrington, who is tied for 10th in the SPBC in bases on balls with 30, helped out the Detroit cause in the bottom of the sixth inning with a run-scoring walk. For the game, the center fielder was 1 for 2 with 2 walks.

Harrington told reporters after the game: "This one was touch and go, but we were able to put it in the win column."
