The Allentown Fleetwings got a stellar performance from pitcher Jorge Araujo, who handcuffed the Southern California offense en route to a win, 6-2, at Empires Stadium. Araujo picked up the win for Allentown, going 5 innings. He gave up 1 run on 5 hits. He now sports a record of 4-5. Ken Zimmermann earned the save for Allentown, his 4th of the year.

It could have been a different outcome for Allentown, had it not been for Mario Perea, the 32-year old catcher . Perea contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the fourth inning to put Allentown up, 2-0.

"Thought I threw pretty well and overall I felt good," said Araujo.

The Fleetwings win now puts them at 22-18.
