Braves Win, 4-3, at Sherbrooke
|
The Green Bay Braves topped the Sherbrooke Canadians, 4-3, in Semi-Pro Baseball Circuit action at Canadians Park. The standout performance belonged to Green Bay pitcher and Denver, Colorado, native Pedro Hernandez. Mike Schraufnagel earned the save for Green Bay, his 3rd of the year. The 4th-place Braves are now 18-21, the Canadians 15-24.
Gordie Johnson had a direct impact on the outcome. Johnson contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put Green Bay up, 4-1.
"Pedro went out and got the job done," said Braves manager Cody Birk.
