Conditions were not ideal but Philadelphia and Boston were able to put their game in the books.

The Boston Shamrocks got a superb performance from pitcher Chris Phillips, but the Philadelphia Keystones still won the game, 3-2. Phillips threw 6.0 innings of 2-hit ball. Ron Ingram went 6 innings, allowing 2 runs on 7 hits. The right-hander, who is tied for 8th in the PBC with a 2.32 ERA, struck out 2 and walked 0. With the win, he's now 3-1 this season. Xavier Rodriguez sewed up the save, his 4th.

Philadelphia used the hitting of Cody Edwards to pick up the win. The catcher clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Keystones on top, 3-0. For the game, Edwards had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"Winning is hard sometimes," said Keystones manager Corey Anderson. "This one was nice to get."

Philadelphia is now 16-25, while Boston is 20-21.
