Aztecas Reel-In 5-4 Win Over Rollers

Fans watched the Mexico City Aztecas and the Las Vegas Rollers fight to the finish.
Mexico City registered a win at Vegas Stadium by beating the Las Vegas Rollers, 5-4. Pitcher Alan Staubitz was one reason why the Aztecas triumphed. Staubitz, the winner, moves to 6-2. He threw 8.1 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 6 and giving up 7 walks.
Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Daniel Gilmore? The Mexico City right fielder had a bases-clearing double in the top of the fifth inning to put the Aztecas on top, 5-1. For the game, Gilmore had 1 double and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
"You can never predict what'll happen," Gilmore said. "That's why you play the game."
The loss makes Las Vegas 12-23.
