The Saskatoon Moose had to overcome a good performance from Hamilton pitcher Chris Harpel to claim a 2-1 win at Moose Grounds. Harpel went 8 innings and allowed 1 run. Saskatoon reliever Andy Clayborn picked up the win. Jay Briddell took the loss for Hamilton. With the victory, the Moose upped their record to 17-12.

In the bottom of the tenth, Ryan Ream knew he could end it with one good swing of the bat. And he did, hitting a run-scoring single off Hamilton pitcher Jay Briddell.

"Put a star next to this win," Ream said.
