The skies opened up and the rain fell at Hamilton Park.

Hamilton first baseman Ryan Lynn made his presence felt in the 12-5 Tigers triumph over the Winnipeg Buffaloes. Lynn went 2 for 4 with a double and a walk, while scoring 3 times. The winner in relief was Tony Giraldo. He is now 3-0. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 1.1 innings.

Ricky Alcala was 1-4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for Hamilton. The 31-year old left fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the sixth. With one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, he broke a 3-3 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Michael Maya. It was his 17th RBI of the season.

In postgame comments to the Hamilton Daily, Lynn said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."

The first-place Tigers are 18-9.
