The Allentown Fleetwings claimed a close win over the Ottawa Capitals, due in large part to Chris Goyer. The Allentown right-hander pitched a great game to secure the 2-1 win. The third-place Fleetwings are 13-14.

The Fleetwings got a big at-bat from right fielder Chris Kayser. For the game, Kayser went 1-3 with a double and a walk. In the bottom of the fifth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 1st double of the season gave Allentown a 2-1 lead.

Kayser told a Allentown Bulletin reporter he was "pleased as punch" with the win.
