The Los Angeles Knights defeated the Philadelphia Keystones, 8-7, at Keystones Stadium. Jared Blodgett was one of the standouts for Los Angeles. His 3 hits included 2 singles and 1 triple -- this in addition to the 1 run he scored and 4 he knocked in. Chris Thompson sewed up the save, his 2nd. With the loss, Philadelphia sinks to 2-2.

The game was all tied up in the top of the eighth, until Blodgett delivered big-time for Los Angeles, stroking a dramatic 2-run single off Joe Lang. The game-changing hit put the Knights on top, 8-6.

Blodgett told reporters after the game: "This one was touch and go, but we were able to put it in the win column."
