Steelheads Get 10-9 Win Versus Edmonton
The Vacaville Steelheads defeated the Edmonton Drillers, 10-9, at Drillers Field. Leading the charge for Vacaville was third baseman Matt Lopresti. He went 2 for 5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 4. Vacaville is off to a hot start at 9-4.

In the top of the sixth, the Steelheads grabbed the lead when Lopresti hit his 1st home run of the season. The grand slam home run off Hiromichi Nishioka made it 9-6, Vacaville.
