Tarter Hits Two Dingers, Braves Win, 9-2
The exploits of designated hitter Chris Tarter, who finished 4th in the SPBC in RBI with 60 in 2009, helped the Green Bay Braves defeat the Winnipeg Buffaloes, 9-2. Tarter hit 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice. Etienne Larini got credit for the win, improving to 1-1. He allowed 2 runs on 7 hits in 9 innings. Green Bay goes to 4-5.

With Green Bay leading 5-2 in the bottom of the seventh, Tarter hit a fastball from John Stockton for a 3-run home run. It was his 5th home run of the season and put the Braves ahead, 8-2.

"It was a good team win. Everybody threw something in," Tarter told the Green Bay Citizen.
