Luis Galdamez had a strong outing for the Edmonton Drillers against the Albany Senators at Drillers Field. The left-hander was a big part of his team's 3-2 win. John Higgins wrapped it up, recording his 3rd save. With the win, Edmonton improves its record to 5-1.

Edmonton first baseman Joe Farley contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the fourth. With two down, he hit a changeup to center field for a run-scoring single. It was his 2nd hit of the season and put the Drillers ahead, 3-0.

Said losing manager James Hoerning: "Not taking anything away from them, but we swung the bats better than what it showed."
