The Mexico City Aztecas welcomed the Southern California Empires to an night game at Empires Stadium.
The Mexico City Aztecas bested the Southern California Empires by a score of 7-5, with catcher Michael Queen getting the main credit. On the day, Queen was 2 for 4 with 2 home runs, while adding 6 RBI and scoring twice for the Aztecas. The loss has the Empires at 1-3.
Mexico City grabbed the momentum in the top of the fifth, when Queen hit a 3-run home run off Dustin Clark. His 2nd home run of the season put the Aztecas out in front, 7-4.
"I was hoping to make good contact," said Queen. "I wasn't trying to knock the snot out of it."
