The 2012 season is off to a good start for the Las Vegas Rollers. The hometown Rollers knocked off the Detroit Chargers, 5-2, at Vegas Stadium. Las Vegas pitcher Sean Dunsmore paced his team to the win. Erik Ritter sewed up the save, his 1st.

The Rollers had to work out of trouble in the top of the ninth. The score was 5-2, Las Vegas, with one out. Detroit, with runners on 1st and 2nd, was mounting a threat. Gabe Harris dug in at the plate, but on a 1-2 cutter, he struck out.
