Brown, Warriors Notch Nifty 3-0 Win Over Chicago
|
The Washington Warriors converted a terrific effort from starter Mark Brown into a win over the Chicago Blackhawks at Trident Field. The Warriors won the game by a final score of 3-0. Chicago's current losing streak is now 4 games.
Brown made it look easy. He scattered 4 hits over 8 innings, while racking up 8 strikeouts. The right-hander upped his season record to 7-0.
"Every time I step on the mound, I want to go out there and compete and bring my best game," said Brown.
