Skipper Herrera Terminated by Diablos Thursday, December 22nd , 2011 In an expected move, the El Paso (R) Diablos fired manager Jesus Herrera today. The team had not been performing up to expectations, and it was thought to be just a matter of time before the move was made. "We've decided to go in a different direction," El Paso (R) general manager explained to the assembled press. "We'd like to thank Jesus for his service and wish him well in the future." The organization has been mum on possible candidates for the position, but expect to name a replacement soon. |
