PBC Rookie Complex League Names League's Best Tuesday, November 1st , 2011 He may have less experience than most of his PBC Rookie Complex League peers, but that didn't slow Jay Stady down at all in 2011. At the age of 21, the Chicago (R) second baseman has been named the winner of the PBC Rookie Complex League Most Valuable Player Award. He had a .389 batting average and a .502 on-base percentage this year. In 82 games he piled up 102 hits, 23 doubles, 1 triple, 14 home runs, 51 RBIs and 52 runs scored. "I'm blown away by the season I was able to put together," he said. "I'm looking forward to trying to do it all again next year." He received 13 first place votes out of a possible 18.
