R Pitcher of the Year Award Announced Monday, October 31st , 2011 Kareem Parson of the Detroit (R) Motors outdid his pitching peers this year and has been honored with the 2011 PBC Rookie Complex League Pitcher of the Year Award. During his remarkable year Parson posted a 8-1 record in 22 starts. In 112.2 innings he yielded 62 hits and 40 walks while striking out 151 and compiling a fine 1.20 ERA. He received 18 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Nate Fuchs of the Detroit (R) Motors finished second in voting, while Nate Michaels of the Atlanta (R) Pilots finished third.
