Motors Heading to Championship Cup Sunday, October 9th , 2011 The Detroit (R) Motors have advanced to the Championship Cup, with a 9-5 triumph at PBC Rookie Development Complex over the Chicago (R) Blackhawks. The win sealed a 4-2 series win for Detroit (R). The series MVP honor went to Motors second baseman Brendan Brown. "It takes every guy in that dugout to win games, not just me," Brown said afterward. "I'm proud to be moving on." The Detroit (R) Motors don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Las Vegas (R) Aces - Tampa Bay (R) Thunder series.
