25-Game Hitting Streak for Mangrum Wednesday, September 15th , 2010 Chalk up another one for Los Angeles (R) Knights shortstop Noah Mangrum. He now has hit in 25 straight games. Mangrum went 1-for-4 in today's game at PBC Rookie Development Complex but saw his club defeated, 9-7, by the host New York City (R) Blues. "Playing on the road always makes it harder to get hits and to get wins," Knights manager David Franco said after the game. "We got one of the two, but unfortunately it was the wrong one." Noah Mangrum flied out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, struck out in the 5th, flied out in the 7th and walked in the 7th. In 2010 Mangrum has hit at a .339 clip with 103 hits, 6 home runs, 36 RBIs and has scored 48 times. |
