Year Over for Warriors Puurunen Friday, July 23rd , 2010 The season is finished for Janne Puurunen of the Washington (R) Warriors. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Warriors reliever suffered a torn flexor tendon in his elbow while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Toronto (R) Titans. Team doctors said it would take at least 12-13 months to heal. |
