Bad News for Detroit (R), Kareem Parson Hurt Monday, October 3rd , 2011 Detroit (R) starting pitcher Kareem Parson left today's game with a stretched elbow ligament. The injury looked like it occurred throwing a pitch in the game against Chicago (R). One fan said, "As soon as it happened, you could tell something was wrong." The injury will likely leave the Motors without Parson for about 10-11 months. Parson has made 22 starts so far this year and put up a 8-1 won-lost record with a 1.20 ERA. In 112.2 innings he has allowed 62 hits, walked 40 and struck out 151. |
