Brandon Anderson Injured, Out for Year Thursday, September 29th , 2011 The Atlanta (R) Pilots were informed today by team doctors that starting pitcher Brandon Anderson sustained a torn labrum in a recent game against the Miami (R) Sun Sox and will not play for 4-5 months. Anderson was hurt throwing a pitch. So far this year, Anderson has made 17 starts, tossed 84.1 innings, struck out 107 batters and walked 45. His record is 3-7 with a 3.95 ERA and he has limited opposing teams to a .268 batting average. |
