Tampa Bay (R) Captures South Division Crown Friday, September 23rd , 2011 Those who doubted them are eating crow and those who believed in them are reminding everyone of their faith. The Tampa Bay (R) Thunder have captured the crown as South Division champions. "It's nice to wrap this up a little bit early so we don't have to sweat it out down the stretch," said center fielder Ben Skipper. "A lot of people didn't know how we would make out this year, so it's nice to show people what our team is all about." The club currently has a 53-28 record which is good for their 2nd division title. The team will be vying for its 1st Championship Cup. |
