Great Stroke: Hørby Gets 5 Hits Sunday, September 18th , 2011 The Los Angeles (R) Knights stopped the Detroit (R) Motors by a score of 7-4 at PBC Rookie Development Complex, with the lion's share of the credit going to shortstop Peder Hørby. The 20-year-old had a career day, collecting 5 hits. "Every batter wants to have a quality at-bat every time he steps up to the plate," Hørby said later. "He wants to hit the ball hard." Hørby did just that in his 5 at-bats, much to the chagrin of the Motors. "Not much that I can say," offered Detroit (R) manager Gabe Greene. "He just hammered the heck out of us." Peder Hørby singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 6th and hit an RBI double in the 8th. To date this year, Hørby is batting .326 with 5 home runs.
