San Francisco (R) Loses Jonas Hoerman for Season Friday, August 12th , 2011 Jonas Hoerman of the Peanuts just might have to call it quits for the season. The 19-year-old San Francisco (R) starting pitcher received a possible season-ending injury against the Toronto (R) Titans recently at PBC Rookie Development Complex. Hoerman suffered bone chips in his elbow while throwing a pitch. The Peanuts medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 4-5 months. This season, Hoerman has fashioned a 1-1 mark and 5.65 ERA in 28.2 innings. Opposing clubs are batting .287 against him and he has logged 32 strikeouts. |
