Ricky Silva Lost for Season Friday, June 17th , 2011 Watching Ricky Silva getting helped off the field today at PBC Rookie Development Complex, fans of the Atlanta (R) Pilots feared the worst. The news wasn't quite as bad as initially feared, but the starting pitcher will miss 7 months with shoulder inflammation. "We feel we've dodged a bullet. When you see a guy break down like that, you worry right away," a team spokesman said. Silva suffered the injury throwing a pitch in the game against the Keystones. |
