Albuquerque Coyotes Hurler ABC's Premier Pitcher Thursday, October 27th , 2011 The Pitcher of the Year Award for 2011 has been announced and the Amateur Baseball Circuit winner is Josh Murphy of the Albuquerque Coyotes. With a record of 8-5, Murphy was certainly a worthy winner. He made 19 starts and rang up 136.2 innings, 170 strikeouts and a 2.70 ERA. He received 9 first place votes out of a possible 18. Clement Brown of the Franklin Knights finished second in voting with 8 first place votes, while Andy McCullers of the Houston Apollos finished third with 1 first place vote.
