Valdovinos Grabs ABC Reliever of the Year Award Monday, October 24th , 2011 He may only be 20, but Pedro Valdovinos of the Tulsa Twisters has already established himself as one of the elite relievers in the Amateur Baseball Circuit. The reliever was today named the ABC Reliever of the Year Award winner for 2011. He won the award with a strong year that saw him put up 3 saves in 22 relief appearances and 70 strikeouts in 54.2 innings. He had a record of 3-2 to go with his 1.81 ERA. He received 18 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Federico Cardenas of the Fort Wayne Farmers finished second in voting, while Jeff Voyles of the Houston Apollos finished third.
