Celada Takes ABC's Best Bat Award Saturday, October 1st , 2011 Alejandro Celada put together a good September to earn the Amateur Baseball Circuit Batter of the Month prize. A virtual unknown, he made the most of his chance to prove to Albuquerque officials that he belongs on the big league roster. The Coyotes center fielder posted a .387 batting average with 9 home runs, 27 RBIs and 18 runs scored. Currently Celada is hitting .341 and has collected 19 home runs, 46 RBIs and scored 40 times, while playing in 64 games. |
