Bray Raps El Paso for 5 Hits Wednesday, September 28th , 2011 The Stars whipped the Mavericks, 9-7, at The Sun Bowl and Nate Bray had a big hand in the win. The Stars second baseman came to the plate 6 times and collected 5 hits. It was a good day for Bray and a tough day for El Paso. "I just go up there and whale away and hope it hits the barrel of the bat," he said. "There really isn't any plan." Plan or not, Bray delivered -- 5-for-6 is outstanding in any league. Nate Bray singled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, singled in the 6th, hit a two-run home run off Jimmy Sparks in the 8th and flied out in the 9th.
