East Division Champs Crowned: Providence Grays Sunday, September 25th , 2011 The Providence Grays are champions of the East Division, but don't plan the parade quite yet. "It's a nice accomplishment, but we haven't done anything until we win the Amateur Circuit Cup," said reliever Sean Winzenburg. "We're going to celebrate this for sure, but the real celebration is still to come for fans in Providence." The club's record currently sits at 47-36. It is the team's 4th division title and they will be seeking the franchise's 2nd Amateur Baseball Circuit championship. Team manager Danny Ungo said he plans to take some time to celebrate the division title, but then it's "back to work" for members of the team and coaching staff. |
