Stars Nealon to Miss Year Saturday, September 24th , 2011 The season is apparently over for Adam Nealon. The Arlington Stars medical staff informed the club that the starting pitcher will be out at least 5-6 months with a fractured elbow. Nealon was hurt in the game against Yuma while throwing a pitch. The doctors did not think he would recover prior to the end of the season. Nealon has fashioned a 7-6 mark for the season, 5.40 ERA and thrown 103.1 innings in 21 starts. Opposing clubs are batting .283 against him. |
