Playoffs Won't Happen for Battalion Friday, September 23rd , 2011 Matt Ellis said it's going to be "an awfully long offseason" for the Boston Battalion after they missed the Amateur Baseball Circuit playoffs. The club came close, but ultimately ran out of games to secure a postseason spot and were eliminated from contention today. This is the 5th time in a row that the Battalion have missed the playoffs.Their last payoff appearance was in 2006. |
