Alex Cosme Lost for Season Tuesday, September 20th , 2011 Alex Cosme of the Knights just might have to call it quits for the season. The 34-year-old Franklin first baseman received a possible season-ending injury against the Albuquerque Coyotes recently at Coyote Park. Cosme suffered a torn calf muscle while running the bases. The Knights medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 4-5 months. This season, Cosme is batting .349 with 8 home runs. His totals include 23 RBIs and 27 runs scored. |
