Paço Brochardo Hurt, Will Miss Rest of Year Tuesday, September 20th , 2011 Playoff hopes of Grays player Paço Brochardo have been dealt a blow today after tests revealed the starting pitcher suffered bone chips in his elbow throwing a pitch in today's game against New Orleans Buccaneers. Brochardo is expected to miss up to 4-5 months, effectively ruling him out of the playoffs. In 7 starts this season, Brochardo has chalked up a 1-3 record and a 5.40 ERA. |
