Grays, Natale Blank Manhattan, 1-0 Thursday, September 8th , 2011 The Manhattan Liberty struggled at the plate against Grays hurler Tommy Natale, who shackled them on 1 hit while hurling a complete-game 1-0 shutout. "What can you say? We didn't hit well," said Liberty skipper Roman Sandoval in postgame comments. "Hopefully we shake this off and bounce back tomorrow." Natale finished the game with 8 strikeouts and 3 walks in an excellent mound performance. "He pitched real well," Providence manager Danny Ungo said. "Tommy made pitches when he had to. He hit his spots and did a great job of mixing in his changeup and using his fastball effectively." On the season, Natale has compiled a 3-5 mark with a 4.68 ERA in 11 starts.
