ABC's Top Hitter Announced Thursday, September 1st , 2011 In the last year of his deal with Houston, Luis Vizcarra has created some waves by winning August's Amateur Baseball Circuit Batter of the Month title today. He put up a solid .362 batting average with 5 home runs, 18 RBIs and 20 runs scored. He also worked ABC pitchers for 22 walks and a .516 on-base percentage. If he keeps churning out numbers like these, the 33-year-old is sure to draw some attention when contract time rolls around.
