Mavericks Johnson Lost for Year Tuesday, August 30th , 2011 Morgan Johnson will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the El Paso reliever could miss the remainder of the year. Johnson was injured while throwing a pitch in the Mavericks-Liberty clash at The Sun Bowl recently. Doctors said he has a fractured elbow and would be out a minimum of 6 months. So far this year, Johnson has been credited with no saves, registered a 3.21 ERA and struck out 16 in 14 innings. He also has a 0-2 record. |
