ABC Presents Player of the Week Trophy Monday, August 8th , 2011 It was announced today that New Orleans center fielder Pat Owen was named the Amateur Baseball Circuit Player of the Week Award for his superb play last week. During the week he compiled a .562 batting average (9-for-16) with 2 home runs, 10 runs batted in and scored 3 runs. This year, Owen is hitting .283 with 3 home runs and 20 RBIs in 41 games played. He also boasts an OBP of .357 with 16 walks and 16 runs scored. |
