Hits Galore: Leavitt Drills 5 Hits Thursday, July 21st , 2011 Danny Leavitt was the King of Swing at Farmers Field in the 7-1 Fort Wayne Farmers win over the Franklin Knights. The Fort Wayne third baseman stepped into the batter's box 5 times against Franklin and delivered 5 hits. It was a sensational game for him. "Unbelievable feeling," he told the press. "It felt good. 5-for-5 isn't bad for your batting average either." Danny Leavitt doubled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
