Velo Gets Award for Relief Work Sunday, November 6th , 2011 Gennaro Velo appears headed for a big payday. The impending free agent turned in a dominant season with the Washington Warriors in 2011 and has won the Professional Baseball Circuit Reliever of the Year Award. With his contract situation unclear for next season, it appears his dominant performance will have him poised to command big money.
