Warriors Dominate, Sweep Cup Qualifier Thursday, October 13th , 2011 Bob Luallen said he expected the Cup Qualifier to be "a battle from start to finish." In the end, it was nothing more than a minor skirmish, as the Washington Warriors encountered little resistance in sweeping the St. Louis Lions, to advance to the Pro Circuit Cup. "It may have been a sweep, but it still was a tough series," said Luallen. Washington won the final game by a 3-1 count and were led in the series by Luallen, who was named MVP. On the series, he hit .417 with 3 home runs. He also drove in 6 RBI and scored 5 runs. The Pro Circuit Cup matchups and schedule will be announced after the Cup Qualifier finishes.
