Play-in Series Goes the Distance, St. Louis Prevails Friday, October 7th , 2011 In an exciting Play-in Series that had its fair share of drama and intrigue, perhaps it is Professional Baseball Circuit fans who have come out the winner. But on the field, the winners were the St. Louis Lions, who edged the Boston Shamrocks 3-2 to advance to the Cup Qualifier. St. Louis won the final game by a 5-2 count to wrap up the series. Will Bruhn earned series MVP honors, by hitting .450 with a .500 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 4 RBI and scored 5 runs.
