Weber Captures PBC Batter of Month Award Saturday, October 1st , 2011 It's perhaps an award he'll win many more times through his career, as at age 25 Matt Weber has a lot of baseball ahead of him. But for now the young St. Louis Lions star can enjoy the numbers he put up in September, which have garnered him the nod as the Professional Baseball Circuit Batter of the Month. His breakout month featured a .308 average with 13 home runs, 28 RBIs and 21 runs scored. Weber is batting .313 this year with 27 home runs, 67 RBIs and 66 runs scored. He has 106 hits in 339 at-bats. |
