No Late-Season Magic Coming: Chicago Out of Playoffs Sunday, September 25th , 2011 The Chicago Blackhawks will soon be packing their bags and heading home for the year. The 2011 season won't involve a playoff run for the club, as Chicago was mathematically eliminated from playoff contention today. This is the club's 8th playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2003. In total, the Blackhawks have missed the playoffs 10 times in their 12-year history. |
