No Playoff Berth Coming for Atlanta Friday, September 23rd , 2011 They put up a valiant effort, but the Atlanta Pilots didn't have what it takes to make the Professional Baseball Circuit playoffs in 2011. The club was officially eliminated from postseason qualification today. "Sucks," said Pilots center fielder Kevin Brown. This is the club's 7th playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2004. In total, the Pilots have missed the playoffs 10 times in their 12-year history. |
